Straps and bag parts
Replacing a strap can rescue a handbag that is otherwise in good condition. We stock ready-made straps and the components to build your own — together with hardware, clasps and chains.

Bag straps
Leather and leather-look, narrow and wide, adjustable and fixed. With lobster clasps at the ends, ready to clip into existing hardware.
We also stock textile straps made from wide webbing — fashionable, comfortable and considerably cheaper than leather.
Bag chains
Heavier metal chains, on their own or combined with a leather shoulder insert. Sold by the metre or as finished straps with fastenings.
Hardware and accessories
Lobster clasps, rings, sliders, snap fasteners, rivets and feet. Everything needed to replace damaged hardware or build a strap from scratch.
What they are used for
- Bag repair — replacing a broken strap or a cracked lobster clasp.
- Changing the look — the same bag with a different strap looks entirely different.
- Bag making — components for your own projects.
- Leather goods — belts, collars, accessories.
How to choose
- Measure the ring on the bag. The clasp has to fit through it — this is the commonest cause of a wasted purchase.
- Set the length on yourself. Over the shoulder usually 100–120 cm, cross-body 130–140 cm.
- Chains add weight. On a light bag in thin leather a chain can stretch the mounting.
- Bring the bag in. Trying a strap on the spot settles it in a minute.
